Oregon Family Orthodontics

Meet the Doctor

Dr. Erica Crosta welcome to the team!

I am an Oregon native! I grew up in the Portland area and have always loved this beautiful state. I earned my Bachelors of Science at Oregon State University and then transitioned to Oregon Health and Science University for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After earning my dental degree, my husband and I moved to Nevada so I could attend the University of Nevada for my Masters of Science and certification in orthodontics. We couldn’t stay away from Oregon so we moved back and I have been working in Bend for the past six years. We decided to move back over the mountains to be closer to family and friends and we are very excited to call Eugene home! Orthodontics truly is the best profession and I am so fortunate to be able to share my knowledge to help give patients beautiful, healthy smiles. Orthodontic treatment has life-changing impact and to be able to be a part of that experience is so rewarding. I look forward to being a part of the Oregon Family Orthodontic team and I can’t wait to meet you!

Outside the office you will find me spending time with my beautiful family! My husband Trevor, our two boys, Nash and Knox and golden retriever named Garth. We are always looking for adventure….hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, surfing, pretty much anything outdoors. We are very excited to be a part of the Eugene community and can’t wait to explore everything it has to offer!

Professional affiliations: American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and Oregon Dental Association and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Shannon Schober’s last day with the practice 1/31/2023. Oregon Family Orthodontics wishes her the best on future endeavors.

Meet the Team

Dr. Erica Crosta couldn’t do her job without her wonderful team of Expanded Function Orthodontic Assistants. They are the faces you see each time you come in and they help to create beautiful smiles!

See their faces and bio’s to get to know them a little more:

Lindsay

Lindsay

Expanded Functions Orthodontic Assistant

Lindsay has been an orthodontic assistant for most of this century! Luckily she has been with team OFO since March 2019 and she has been a perfect addition to our family. Her favorite part of orthodontics is helping children and adults find confidence in their new smiles and show them to the world. Out of the clinic, you can find Lindsay playing with Boomer, her Airedale Terrier, and just spending time outdoors. Whether it’s camping, rafting, or hiking, she is doing it! She has also been known to make some mean chocolate chip cookies. Interesting note, she loves chocolate and bacon, but who doesn’t?

Favorite Disney Movie: Toy Story (to infinity and beyond!!)

Arcelia

Arcelia

Treatment Coordinator

Born in Portland and raised in Woodburn, Arcelia moved to Eugene officially in 2013 to continue her education and ultimately obtain her Bachelor’s in Spanish and General Social Science from the University of Oregon. Like most Oregonians, she enjoys when the sun is shining and likes to follow the sun when she travels. Arcelia shares her life with her husband, Juan, owner of El Super Taco in Eugene, and their dog, Chevy. You can often find her grooving to the beat, no matter what is playing, but if you really want to get her moving, she loves R&B and Hip-Hop. Fluent in Spanish, she can make anyone want to learn another language and move seamlessly between them as she does.
Favorite Disney Movie: Toy Story franchise – specifically, REX – RAWWWRR!

Jose

Jose

Expanded Functions Orthodontic Assistant

There is a new face joining the OFO team. Please give a warm welcome to Jose Garcia! Jose is bringing a much-needed, additional Spanish speaker into the clinic. Hailing from Coos Bay, Jose is our only … what do you call someone from Coos Bay? Coos Bayian? Coos Bayite? Coos Bae? Whatever you call him, he is from Coos Bay! He loves enjoying the summer weather and hanging out with his dog, family, and his friends. When he is not in the clinic, he is cheering on the Ducks and rocking out to some of his favorite bands. Jose also brought to Dr. Ward’s attention the purpose of purple shampoo, so now we are all well informed. Interesting fact about Jose, he recently wrapped up his training at Lane Community College, as well as working at Burrito Amigos. Ironically enough, with his multiple years working at Burrito Amigos, he claims he still is unable to wrap a perfect burrito—much like mine, which I simply stuff until it bursts. We are so excited to have Jose join the OFO family, o podemos decir que estamos emocionados que Jose es un parte de nuestra familia de OFO!
Favorite Disney Movies: Coco and Moana, which are great choices

Stacie

Stacie

Clinical Manager

STACIE IS BACK! She’s finally back in her hometown and we couldn’t be happier for her! For a while, she was following her USMC husband around and living in California… I think Eugene’s much better. While she was away, she was broadening her knowledge of dentistry working as a clinical assistant, office manager, marketing coordinator, and community outreach. She’s excited to share her knowledge with us! Here as the Clinical Manager, Stacie builds and maintains the synergy within all clinics, which is a fancy way of saying she keeps the peace for this fun and crazy team! In her own words, “It is wonderful being able to provide treatments that help to transform lives one person at a time. Everyone deserves to feel special, so let’s make it happen.” It’s phrases like that where she really helps to motivate the team. But enough about work, she also has two boys and spending time with her family and friends is a top priority. You can also find Stacie on the dance floor, line dancing; she can really get down! She also enjoys hiking, painting, and going to Oregon Duck games. GO DUCKS!

Favorite Disney Movie: Lion King

Beth

Beth

Expanded Functions Orthodontic Assistant

From the beginning of time, at least the beginning of Beth’s time, she has wanted to work in orthodontics. Crazily she wanted to do this from when she had braces as a kid (well not too crazy, Dr. Ward wanted to do this since he had braces as well). Beth is our resident coffee-holic. We snatched Beth straight from her externship while she was at school and we have been thrilled. She has a small, furry friend named Peanut (not a boyfriend, just a dog), and she loves the moments of Oregon sun and spending time with family and friends. She also has great taste in music.

Favorite Disney Movie: Bambi (which is just really sad.. the movie, not the choice!)
